The Republic of Macedonia is a small natural paradise of mountains, forests, lakes and rivers, situated in the heart of the Balkan. Besides a brilliant mix of natural wonders, including some fantastic limestone rocks, it stands for a special blend of history and culture. A very warm and welcoming country waits to be further explored!

Sport climbing in Macedonia started in 1990 (trad climbing much earlier) with the first sport route being bolted, named Jumbo Jet graded 7a. Since then the total number of routes already exceeds 200 and it is absolutely sure that in the next two years this number will double!
