Forget climbing in France, forget climbing in Italy, forget climbing in Switzerland, Romania is the new place to be! This wonderful country not only has some excellent climbing but also lets you experience a way of life that is virtually unknown in Western Europe. Here you can still see horse-drawn carts passing by and people working on the fields as if it were 1890. Exploring this way of life gives you the same sense of satisfaction as on-sighting your first 7a. Oh, and we should have said: 7a´s are abundant in Romania!

It may come as a surprise but the splendid climbing areas of Romania compare very well with those in Western Europe.
